Karen´s Doodles Scandinavian Challenge #17 DT card

Hey! It´s wednesday and time for another Karen´s Doodles Scandinavian Challenge. This week we are setting a colour challenge for you...it´s time to see some GREEN, YELLOW and BLUE creations.

I made a card for a boy again, just thought this boy with his frog was so much fun. I did the colouring with Promarkers and layered up some green, yellow and dark brown cardstock with my MME Bloom&Grow dp´s. Wrapped some linen string around the card and that was all, I might add a sentiment later when I know who this card is really for.

Stamp with Fun #64 DT card

Happy monday! It´s time to Stamp with Fun. This week we have an easy theme for you to follow as the theme is Birthday.

I used one of my neglected Ladybug and Friends stamps as my image and did the colouring with Promarkers only using the grey tones (excluding skin and hair). I was going to apply some colour after I had done the shading with greys but liked how the image looked and decided not to add any more colour. I did the sentiment with my computer and the papers are from Papermania and K&Company.

Stamp Something DT card...something vintage

Hello and happy friday! It´s time for yet another Stamp Something challenge...this is my last SS challenge as a dt member, I have enjoyed being a part of the dt and I know the new dt ladies will also enjoy their new "job" as much as I have.

So let´s get back to this weeks challenge. Simon Says is sponsoring the challenge and the prize is fabulous as always. Our theme is vintage and flowers, I sure am looking forward to seing your gorgeous creations as I´m going through them as a dt member for the last time.

For my card I chose to use this gorgeous litle doctor boy designed by Elisabeth Bell (for WoJ). I did the colouring with Promarkers and used some Papermani and K&Company papers to make the card. A little tag and flowers with pearls around them finish off my creation.

Karen´s Doodles Scandinavian Challenge #16

Happy wednesday! It´s time for another Karen´s Doodles Scnadinavian Challenge. This weeks theme is stitches so get your sewing machines or pens (if you decide to fake it) ready.

I have Movie girl (one of Karen´s older images) as my image and did the colouring with Promarkers. The layout is really simple and the twist is in the sentiment part that slides out. The background paper is from Basic Grey and I opted to go with some fake stitches again as my sewing machine still doesn´t like me sewing paper.

Stamp with Fun #64 DT card

Hallo and happy monday! It´s time to kick start another week with a Stamp with Fun challenge and a lovely sketch by Tina.

I did a lot of simplifying... left out the flowers and sentiment and opted to just use some clean cut layers in my card. The image is from WoJ and the papers are from Papermania. I coloured my image with Promarkers as usual and added only three pearl as embellishment.

My summer holiday has started and I´m finding myself busier than ever...so I guess this is all for now. Have fun crafting!

Karen´s Doodles Scandinavian Challenge #15...summertime!

Hello everyone! It´s wednesday already and we have a new Karen´s Doodles Scandinavian Challenge for you. This week we are setting an easy theme for you...and the theme is summertime. This is also a joint challenge again so all the KD challenges have the same theme.

I tought I´d go for something action filled and started thinking of activities one might do on their summer holiday. Fishing popped right into my might and I think this KD image is just the cutest, the girl looks so proud and happy of her big catch LOL. I did the colouring with Promarkers and did that spotted background thing again I have seen somewhere on blogland (should really find a tutorial for it as I might be doing it all wrong). The papers are from MME and Papermania. I went for a simple layout again with lots of layers and I think it works quite well.

Stamp with Fun #63 DT card

Happy monday! Let´s Stamp with Fun again! This week the theme is fairytales or myths, so get your sweet mythical stamps ready.

I thought this genie from WoJ was just perfect for this theme, remember the tale of Alladin? I coloured my image with Promarkers and kept the layout of my card fairly simple and opted not to add any embellishments. The papers are from Papermania and K&Company.

Not many of you know that I make jewellery as I haven´t shown my creations here on my blog. I thought it was about time to reveal that side of me also. So here´s one of my new designs that actually inspired me to colour my image with purple and pink. The necklace is made of  handmade glass beads out of India and the pendant is made of silverplated copperwire. I make jewellery mostly for sale, our crafters society has a small boutique here in Luopioinen that´s open only during summertime and we also travel together to go sell our products at various marketplaces and sales.

Stamp Something DT card...happy somethings

Happy Friday! It´s time to Stamp Something again. This weeks theme is an easy one, it´s simply HAPPY, so start making your happy projects and join us in on the fun.

Our sponsor is Karen´s Doodles and all of us on the dt got to play with her cute and gorgeous images. My image is called Christmas Puppy, I know it´s a long way ´till christmas still but who says this image is a christmas image. The boy is so adorable and most of all SOOOO happy...and who can resist that little puppy. Layoutwise my card is as simple as possible, the twist is in the colours and the colouring technique. As embellishment I added just some bells hanging from a brad.

Karen´s Doodles Scandinavian Challenge #14

Here we are again with a new Karen´s Doodles Scandinavian Challenge, this time we have a lovely sketch for you to follow.

I wanted to make a male card for a change and opted to use Fisher Dad as my image. I did the colouring witrh Promarkers as usual and chose my dp´s from my MME Bloom&Grow paper pad. The tag is completely removable and the card does actually work quite well without it also.

Stamp with Fun #62 DT card

Happy monday! Let´s Stamp with Fun again. This time we have a great sketch for you to follow.

For my card I chose a Diane Duda digi image from Sugar Nellie I had bought ages ago but never had used in a card before. I did my colouring combining watercolours and Promarkers and added some sparkle. the papers are also glittery, they are from MME´s Penny Lane glitter stack. The linen string and buttons came from my stash. I flipped the sketch sideways if some one is wondering why my card seems a bit different from the other dt cards.

Stamp Something DT card...go digi

Hello and happy friday! This week has flown by so fast I have barely had any time to craft...managed to make my DT card for Stamp Something though. This week we are launching a new theme, we want to see some digital images on your creations.

My image is a digi stamp from Some Odd Girl called Surfer Kody. I have coloured it with Promarkers and paired it with a computer generated sentiment. The papers are from MME.

As this week is dedicated to digi stamping we have some lovely sponsors including Some Odd Girl, Bugaboo ,Di's digis, Stamping Dragon and Meljen´s Designs. Karen´s Doodles Scandinavian Challenge #13

Hello and happy wednesday! It´s time for another Karen´s Doodles Scandinavian Challenge, this week we have a n easy theme for you, it´s Birthday so we´ll be expecting lots of entry´s LOL.

I went for a simple layout with a gorgeous image called First Kiss. I coloured my image with promarkers and used a dp from BG as background. I did the sentiment with computer as I didn´t have any stamps that fitted my card perfectly. Then just added a few pearls to the corners of the image and my card was done. Really simple!
