So here it goes! As some of you might have noticed I got through to the second round of Sketch Saturday´s DT Call and I have 11 very talented ladies against me all keeping their fingers crossed (some even have their toes crossed LOL) and hoping like there´s no tomorrow to be picked to be a part of the DT. I really am honoured to even have gotten this far.
After much deliberation I chose sketch #63 (from 8th of August) to be the basis of my card. This sketch is actually one of my all time favourites in all it´s simplicity. I actually adore other peoples lush, complicated and highly embellished creations but my own crafting style is more simple and straightforward.
Well let´s get back to business... so I just had to use this cuter than ever Diane Duda stamp called Curtsy for my card as she looks so humble and is almost pleading to be picked up. I used Promarkers for the colouring and I also made the flowers from white cardstock and dyed them with my PM´s. The gorgeous dp is from Basic Grey´s Eerie paper pad. Some Kaiser rhinestones bring a bit of sophisticated bling to the card.
Ok, now I´ll stop rambling, it´s of my hands now. Best of luck to Dawn, Emma, Janneke, Jerusha, Jo, Louise, Maya, Paula, Simonne, Terry and Trish (but please pick me LOL)!!!
