Stamp with Fun #68 DT card

Hello and happy monday! another great week is starting and we have a new challenge for you at Stamp with Fun. This week we have again a lovely sketch for you to follow.

I have finally bought some Mo´s digistamps, YAY! I was asked to make a birthday card for a 75-year old crafter and remembered I had seen these gorgeous Mummu images drawn by Maurie J. Manning. I bought two and in this card I have used an image called Mummu and Virginia. I just loved colouring this image with Promarkers even though it took ages as the image is so detailed. So I guess Mo´s images aren´t the fastest to colour but they sure are worth the extra time. I have also finally ordered some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts...I think I´m hooked now and have to place a new order soon again (I keep stalking the store as the ones I like are sold out almost all the time). The papers in my card are from DCWV and K&Company and I´ve also added some old lace and pearls as a finishing touch.

The image is a digistamp called Kai in the snow by Maurie J. Manning (also known as Mo). She has the cutest images for sale here. I used the wrong kind of paper when I printed the image so my colouring doesn´t really look it´s best, but I hope it doesn´t matter that much. The dp is from Scenic Route. I only used some linen string to embellish the card. So that´s all for now, other projects wait to be finished.

Kuva on Maurie J. Manningin piirtämä ihana Kai in the snow. Hänellä on aivan ihania digileimoja myynnissä nettikaupassaan. Tein tulostusvaiheessa mokan ja käytin hieman vääränlaista paperia, joka ei oikein soveltunut hyvin Promarkereilla väritykseen. Toivottavasti se ei kuitenkaan haittaa kokonaisuutta ajatellen niin kamalasti. Taustapaperi on Scenic Routen valmistama. Lisäksi kortissa on vain pellavanarua koristeena. Siinähän tuo sitten oli, muut projektit odottavat viimeistelyä.
