Two birds with one stone or however it goes...

It´s that time again...what time you may ask...the time for another GD call at WoJ! So I guess it´s time to try again all though I´m not sure I have a big chance at getting that spot since I was priviledged to be a guest designer already in april and May. But who knows...there´s no harm in trying.

I also want to give my go at the DT call at the WoJ Challenge blog and followed their sketch as I was making my card. I combined two stamps, one from the first ever WoJ stamp kit and one from the newest, to form my image. I had actually seen this somewhere so I can´t really say it´s an original idea, but since the tree stump and this sitting Willow work so well together I had to use them. The colouring is done with promarkers as usual and the papers are from DCWV and K&Company.

I went a bit crazy with my layers... there are eleven layers of cardstock and paper plus that lace at the thickest part of my card and I was even going to add some flowers... I actually had my flowers chosen and some pearls and rhinestones ready when I decided not to use them. I think the card looks better this way and I didn´t really even know where to place my flowers without crowding the image too much. I guess less really is more LOL.
