Stamp Something DT card...something distressed

Hello and happy friday! It´s that time of the week again...and what time you might ask, time for yet another Stamp Something challenge of course LOL. This weeks theme is something distressed, so get your inks and scissors ready...anything you might use to make your project more aged and worn down or you might aswell go for a vintage look some other way.

This week we have Lacey from Stamp and Create as our sponsor. Lacey has been a sponsor before with her stamp line Wags n' Whiskers, but today she is joining us as Stamp and Create, her online shop. Ok so that´s for our sponsor...here´s ho my card came together. The image is from Wags n´ Whiskers and i have coloured it with Promarkers. I went a bit wild with the distressing part as you may have noticed. Inks and scissors and plane old tearing of the paper... I used it all. Those gorgeous dp´s are from MME´s Wild Asparagus paper pad and the sentiment is from Whiff of Joy. Some flowers and half pearls finish off my card.

Stamp Something DT...Something cute

Oh it´s friday again...and what a friday it is. Firstly it´s the day of our new Stamp Something challenge which is to create something cute. The second and even better news is that today is the release day of some cuter than ever stamps. I´m talking about Wags ´n Whiskers if you hadn´t guessed allready.  They are our sponsor this week and our challenge is a part of their new release bloghop.

Wags ´n Whiskers has 8 beautiful Spring Time stamps designed by the talented Crissy Armstrong out today and they are perfect for getting oneself in the mood for some warmer weather, spring flowers, and Easter. But that's not even all! They also have added on a new artist. The Wee Ones, five of them, illustrated by Cris de Lara make the total release count to total of 13 stamp. Yay!

I guess I should get back to my card...so here it is, featuring one of those cute new stamps. Us on the SS design team were so lucky to get to work with Wags ´n Whiskers new images. Aren´t those bunnies just the cutest ever! All the image really needed was a background dp from Basic Grey and some flowers as embellisments. I coloured the image with Promarkers and also coloured the largest flower with PM´s. The sentiment is from WoJ.

Stamp Something DT card...Sketch somethings

Oh wow... a week has flown by so fast again. Now it´s time for this years second Stamp Something challenge, and this time it´s a sketch one. And what a fun sketch it was... go check it out here.

This weeks sponsor is Wags n´ Whiskers and the DT all used images from them. Those images sure are cute! My image was Thinking of you and I used Promarkers to colour it. I added some distress ink to the edges and spritzed the whole thing with some home-made pearlescent spray...which wasn´t such a good idea since the image part of the card looks a bit smudgy now. I wanted to use some gorgeous papers from my Basic Grey June bug paper pad and went with a bright colour scheme, a bit different from the other DT girls.

Voi hitsi... joko se viikko jo meni. Perjantain kunniaksi on tämän vuoden toisen Stamp Something haasteen aika. Tällä kertaa olisi hauska luonnos seurattavana.

Sponsorina on tällä kertaa  Wags n´ Whiskers, joiden leimakuvia kaikki DT:n jäsenet esittelevät korteissaan. Ovat todella söpöjä nuo WnW:n leimat. Minun kortissani on Thinking of you leimakuva, jonka värittelin Promarkereilla. Kuvan reunoihin lisäsin distress mustetta ja suimutin kuvan itse tekemälläni helmiäissumutteella, mikä ei ollut kovin onnistunut kokeilu. Kuvan osuus kortissa on jotenkin suttuinen. Paperit ovat BG:n June bug lehtiöstä. Päädyin kortissani hiukan toisenlaiseen värimaailmaan kuin muut DT tytöt, kokeilin kirkkaita värejä sen sijaan että olisin mennyt pastellilinjalla.
